Daily Living Skills

Toilet Training
We will assist your child in the area of potty training; however, when training at school we would appreciate it if the child wears and brings Pull Ups and extra underwear.

Diapering
We will check and/or change diapers every 1.5 hours. Please bring a pack of diapers to leave at the center along with baby wipes. The diapers and wipes will be labeled as your child's and only used by him/her. There will be an additional charge for house diapers and wipes.

Discipline
Our policy is "It's better to learn from consequences, then to be punished by shame." An example of a consequence may be missing out of an activity the other children will participate in. The consequence is a better learning tool then scolding the child and telling the child that he/she is bad. We do our discipline in such a way that the child's self-esteem will never be affected.
